Hi lovelies,
So we dined at Frankie & Benny's for my birthday, this was only the second time we have been here and the first time was so good we decided to come again! The last time we went was for lunch and they don't have the full menu for lunch so going for dinner was really good as we could order anything we wanted!
As you get inside you are greeted by a waiter/waitress and shown to your seats. Its a nice little touch. The inside is lovely, it's so cozy and warm. There's a lot of brick work and old style pictures hanging up on the walls. It really does have that American diner feel to it.
There was eight of us for dinner and after having a look at the menu, which is fantastic by the way there is so much to choose from. There are burgers, pizzas, steaks, lasagna etc. Personally I went with the lasagna {£9.95} due to the fact I can't have it in our house as my partner hates lasagna (yes he's a weirdo). It was absolutely delicious, the pasta sheets were so soft and the meat and sauce just really complemented it so well, it also came with a side of chips. The chips were lovely so thin but not McDonald's thin, just the right size and the middle was soft and fluffy.
For dessert I went with the Salted Caramel Cheesecake {£5.75} - wow! This was so creamy and the caramel was beautiful. There was little honeycomb pieces covered in chocolate on the top and it really was one of the best cheesecakes I've had, and that is saying something because I absolutely LOVE cheesecake.
The service was great, someone came and checked twice that the foods was OK and asked about drinks refills. The food was absolutely gorgeous, came piping hot and tasted delicious.
The kids menu was also great, both my boys deciding on the pizza and having ice cream for dessert.
The food was reasonably priced, the final bill was less than everyone expected.
We all had such a lovely night, as my Mum put it "lovely evening, good food, good company, what more could you ask for?" It was a great way to celebrate my 30th birthday.
Have you ever been to Frankie & Benny's? What did you think of the food and what did you have?
