Benefit Gimme Brow

Benefit Gimme Brow

You may have recently seen all the hype over Benefit Cosmetic's new brow products, if you were anything like you may have been overly jealous of all these brilliant bloggers getting packages from Benefit. Come on how amazingly pretty was the packaging plus new brow products? Yes please!
Well I was crying over the fact I'd have to wait till near the end of the month to get my hands on them until Benefit launched a one day only pre-launch sale.

So taking full advantage, I swiftly at 8 o'clock in the morning whilst trying to do my make up and get dressed - which ended in a mad panic ending btw, put an order through for Gimme Brow. I went with shade medium as I have brunette hair.
This was the one product I had seen that really caught my eye. The thing is with me I prefer a more natural looking brow, I know a lot of girls like to draw their eyebrows on, and that's great each to their own, but mine just do not suit me doing that so this was the product for me.

Basically it is a tiny mascara looking wand and you run this through your brows for a more thicker looking brow. Let me tell you I did wonder how much this would actually work and really wow...
My eyebrows are quite thin and scraggly, this is probably the result of over plucking when I was younger so Cara Delevingne I am not. But running this through my brows made them stand out more and looking thicker. I went with running it against my hair first and then with my hairs for a good even coverage.

I know a lot of people say that £18.50 is a bit to much for this product and normally I would agree, however I love this that much that I am happy to pay this. I'm hoping it will last about 3 months, about the same time you have to chuck your mascara out so if that works out right then £18.50 every 3 months isn't that bad really.

The Benefit Cosmetics full range is out on the 24th June. If there is only one you get though I recommend Gimme Brow.

Are you one of the blogger's who got this early? What are your first impressions and will you be buying any of these products when they come out?
Leave your comments below and I look forward to reading them.
