I have been counting down to Christmas since the beginning of September so when Lush brought out their Christmas range I was beyond Excited!
I literally want it all, but however due to not having enough penny's to buy the entire selection I couldn't so I picked out a few bits to be going on with.
Snow Fairy Shower Gel
I'm starting with Snow Fairy as I figure everyone knows about this one. I have heard so much about this that it was impossible not to buy it. It sounded just the sort of thing I love.
And it is! To say I love this would be an understatement, it is the best thing I have ever smelt. I love the little flecks of glitter in this to. It is quite a strong smell but personally I think that's great as it will hopefully stay on your skin a bit longer.
I will say though I like to layer my scents and you have snow fairy and candy mountain so it would be nice if they did a body cream as well, I think they should do the same with the comforter, which I also love. It doesn't have to be as strong as this but even a lightly scented cream would be great I think.
The Snowman Shower Gelly
I really fancied trying this one out, it looked super cute and it will be fantastic to use in the shower.
This has added buchu, bergamot oil and sicilian lemon oils for an uplifting fragrance.
I was slightly worried as when I got it, on the tub it says do you smell carrots?
Now I'm not against carrots but I don't want to be smelling like one, however I can't smell carrots, thank goodness. I can't pin point what I think it smells like, it has this sweet sort of fresh smell if that makes any sense. It is really nice and I can't wait to try this out.
Candy Mountain
I brought this as I heard it smelled similar to Snow Fairy, and I'm glad I did now as I will certainly be using Snow Fairy when I have this in my bath. It smells gorgeous, not as strong as Snow Fairy but so lovely all the same.
This is packed with fair trade vanilla, which is another reason I brought it, I love anything with vanilla in it, this and cocoa butter and I'm sold. I like to try and get two baths out of my bubble bars but to be honest this isn't overly big so I'm thinking I probably won't manage that but we will see.
The picture on the website makes this look like a perfect triangle, however mine is bent at the top and looks like a wizards hat. It's kind of cute actually.
Golden Wonder
Unfortunately this was hard to get a photo of but it is a beautiful golden shimmer at the bottom with a beautiful white bow on the top.
I got this because of how pretty it looked and it smells beautiful too.
This has zesty lime oil and sweet orange in it and it makes it smell so good. If you buy this though be warned I only picked it up at the corners and my fingers - and my blanket I use to shoot my pictures on where covered in gold glitter. My throw is now in the wash pile.
This is supposed to have hidden contents inside - just like a present. So I am looking forward to seeing what comes out of it.
Star Dust
I'm hoping you can see this! but it is a beautiful white star with little blue flecks in it.
Again this is supposed to have something inside it, I would have a guess at little mini stars.
This one again has fair trade ugandan vanilla and precious rosewood. It smells beautiful and it will be one I really look forward to trying. This is one of the cheaper bath bombs as well coming in at just £2.95.
Shoot For The Stars
To be honest this was one I actually wasn't to bothered about trying till I saw the video Lush had posted on their Instagram page and it looked amazing! So from that alone I wanted to try this out.
Brazilian orange and bergamot oils make this a a nice smell, it is very uplifting. I can't wait to see what colours come out of this one.
So there we have my little Christmas Haul. I can't wait to try them all out.
What do you think to the one's I've brought? What's your favorite from the Christmas selection they have out? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
