Christmas Eve few the past few years has been a lovely family day, my partner sometimes has to work Christmas Eve but today he is here to spend it with us.
In the mornings we have breakfast and the kids then open up their Christmas Eve boxes, these usually have pjs, socks, chocolate, a dvd and a little crafty item to make.
We usually settle down after lunch and watch Christmas films, our favourites are home alone, elf and love actually. In the evening the kids get ready for bed and we always watch the snowman and crack open a box of chocolates usually miniature heroes. This has been a tradition for my partner since he was a kid and we have carried it on with our two.
We have a break in between film to play a game we have a choice between monopoly and trivial pursuit - whichever we don't play we play that on Christmas Day, this year we are playing trivial pursuit today.
Of course Christmas Eve isn't complete without the chocolates and Pringles. Let the fun comense.
